Well my friends. We are a little more than a week away from getting to hear The Tortured Poets Department for the very first time! I don't know about you all, but I am SO excited. The months that we get new Taylor albums are always so exciting. There's just so much anticipation, so much unknown, and entering a new Era both in terms of Taylor's music, but also ourselves as well. I definitely associate her albums with different stages of my life, and this album will be no different.
Originally when she first announced the album, I was really curious to know if she was going to give this one more of a jazzy feel to it. She hasn't really done a jazz album before, and the vibes from the photos made me think that it could match well! But recently I've been seeing on my Twitter (or X, whatever, it's always gonna be called Twitter to me 😅) timeline that this album is reportedly going to sound a lot like Taylor's upbeat songs in Red, more specifically Holy Ground and State of Grace??? Either way, I am so excited. Based off of Taylor’s recent playlist releases, this album certainly looks like it’s going to be leaning into the grieving process of falling out of love, and the stages of grief (quick, someone send this album to Wanda Maximoff!!). The song list looks a lot like it’ll be a mix of diss tracks, sad revelation songs, songs about denial, and also coming to terms with the end of a relationship you thought was the one. I am particularly interested in loml (the only song written in all lowercase letters on the album) and if it even stands for “Love Of My Life” or if Taylor will give it a completely new meaning. Also The Alchemy is certainly a song I’ve been thinking about as well. I was seeing some other ideas on Twitter explaining that Taylor states that she “once believed love would be black and white, but it’s golden” in Lover, and alchemy is the process of turning materials into gold, referencing that Taylor IS the alchemist and was turning their love, which seems maybe one sided, into a relationship she wanted to hold on to. Anywho, whenever I guess that a song will be upbeat, it always ends up being slow, and if I guessed it’s going to be a sad ballad, it always ends up being the hard rock songs. The fact that we are in this period of guessing is always so funny to me. A week from now, we will know exactly what all of these songs will sound like! I am also SUPER curious on if the double album theory is true. If it is, I believe she might drop TTPD during Midnight Eastern Time here, and then at midnight Pacific she may drop another album? Sort of how she dropped The Til Dawn edition of Midnights in the same night? And I so so so hope she releases a music video for a song too! My guess is maybe for Fresh Out The Slammer? If I were to pick two songs to claim going in blind, right now it would probably be The Alchemy and I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can), but honestly, my picks usually change after I hear the album for the first time! So I’m really curious to see which ones I end up liking. It’s always the ones I don’t think I’ll like the most that I end up falling in love with! Overall, I’m so pumped to see where this album takes us. See you in the next era, swifties 🤭

**This article is spoiler free! :)
As I am sure you are all aware, the new live action Avatar: The Last Airbender show recently dropped on Netflix. I had been watching it over the last couple of days, but it made me really miss watching the animated version of the show! So I decided, what the heck. Let's do it! To start off, I had not seen any episodes of Avatar since I was maybe 11 or 12 years old. I used to watch it on the weekends and during the summer breaks with my siblings, and like many, I had tons of great memories with it. There's so many inside jokes and fun plot points to each of the episodes, and I was super excited to jump back into it! Obviously having just watched the new live action, I remembered many of the plot points of Book 1 (though, I will say, I believe Book 1 is the most memorable for me anyway, regardless if I had watched the live action beforehand or not. Maybe that's just what they played for reruns more often?). For the most part, I remembered plots here and there about Avatar, but by the time I got to book three, I had completely forgotten everything that had happened! Which made it super exciting to rewatch, because it was like watching it for the very first time. I loved getting to re-connect with the gang, and was so excited to rewatch my favorite scenes (the cabbages guy, the secret tunnel scene, you know the ones! 🤭). Having just rewatched the live action, it was interesting to see what plot points that they had changed around, and what they had kept the same (or made different variations on from different books). I thought some changes in the live action were better than the animated, but if I were to recommend one version to watch, it would definitely still be the original animated cartoons for sure. It definitely threw me back into my ATLA hyper-fixation for a little bit 😅 and it also made me wonder what element I would be able to bend if I were a bender! I always thought I would probably be a water bender, but now I'm not so sure. Maybe it's time for me to take a few Buzzfeed quizzes again, hahah! What do you all think? But now that I have rewatched the show, I am able to watch The Legend of Korra for the very first time! I'm not sure why I never watched it when I came out--honestly, I think a lot of the reason was that I didn't know it had existed! But now that I have rewatched the original series, I feel that this gives me a chance to watch and appreciate it for the very first time. So far I have only watched the first three episodes, and I like it so far! It honestly gives me a lot of Arcane vibes with the way there are somewhat futuristic technology but very steampunk-esque aesthetic. I'm interested to see what I will enjoy more by the end of the series--the original, or The Legend of Korra. I definitely have a strong attachment to the original show, which I hope doesn't impede my decision on liking The Legend of Korra or not! Sometimes it's hard to let go of your favorites 🤭 And speaking of, I am SO excited they are producing a show that continues with the events after the 100 year war with the original gang! I'm curious if it will follow the plot of the ATLA comic run that has been released recently, or if they will go a whole other direction. I'm so glad I took the chance to rewatch the series over the last few days. It has been such a joy getting to relive a little part of my childhood, and I cannot wait to see how the rest of The Legend of Korra goes! I'll be sure to keep you all updated on what I think 🥰 Hello hello helloooooo my friends! I hope your week is going well and you are remembering to eat some snacks, drink some water, and take some breaks. Today I wanted to take a little time to talk about one of the brands that I use in my day to day skincare--Scarlett Johansson's "The Outset" Skincare line! Before I dive in, I do want to clarify that this is NOT a sponsored post, I just really enjoy their products 🤭
I started using "The Outset" around September of 2023 (so about 6-7 months at this point) and found that it has really helped my skin a lot! The basics set comes with a cleanser, a serum, and a moisturizer, and that is basically all I use (besides a sunscreen that I added to my morning routine). It is supposed to have all natural ingredients that supposedly gently cleanse your skin rather than be abrasive or "deep cleansing" like a lot of other products on the market. Here are my pros and cons with having used the products thus far! Pros: -My skin has cleared up a lot since using it! -It's only three steps, which makes it super easy for me to follow through with a routine when I'm not feeling motivated to do my skincare, or am feeling super tired at night. -The aesthetic of the bottles is very cute <3 -When you run low, you can buy the refill packets and refill the bottles you already have! Cons: -Because it is so gentle, if I happen to miss a day or two of proper skincare, my skin breaks out a lot quicker than if I had used other products :( but honestly this just motivates me to keep up a good routine HAHAHA -It is more expensive than skincare you can buy in stores (like Target). Other Tips: -This is more a skincare tip in general, but I found that double-cleansing at night (washing your face once to get the dirt and grime off, and then a second time to ACTUALLY cleanse your skin) works WONDERS. My skin cleared up and the cleanser worked so much better after I started doing that. And also washing your hands before you do your skincare, too. It sounds like a no brainer, I know. But doing that before touching your face helps to not add any MORE dirt or germies to your skin :) -If you wanted to try it but aren't ready to commit to the full thing, I recommend starting with the travel sizes! That's what I did before buying the big bottles, and it was super helpful to see how my skin responded to the product change without dropping a ton of money on something I wasn't sure about quite yet. I also own the Purifying Clay Mask and oh my god you guys, it makes my skin SOOOO soft. Like insanely soft, I rinse it off and am still amazed every time at how smooth my skin feels afterwards. I am looking to maybe add the Night Cream into my routine at some point soon, and if I do I'll be sure to post a video update for you all :) That's all for today! I just wanted to share a little bit about my routine and my thoughts on the products in case any of you were thinking of trying 🥰 If any of you guys use any other Outset skincare products that you think I would enjoy, feel free to leave a comment or DM me! I would love to hear about them! Have a great rest of your week, and I'll talk with you guys soon! -Jess So many fandoms. So many characters. But only five will make the list. Take your guesses now, because I bet you can guess them all. I talk about them ALL the time, hahaha! 5. SnoopySnoopy is one of those characters that has just ALWAYS been there. Of course, he is always around during the holidays for the different Peanuts holiday specials. But the Apple TV show is also adorable as well! Snoopy is just the epitome of happiness and joy. He's always enjoying the little things, and just being his silly little goofy self. If I'm having a bad day, I always look to him to cheer up :) 4. Marty McFlyMy FAVORITE movie of all time is Back To The Future! So of course, Marty has to make this list. Marty isn't afraid to be himself, and fight for what he believes in. When I need the reminder to do that for myself, Marty is a great character to turn to. He's his goofy self, and he even learns to make the best of a bad situation (I mean, come on. He was literally stuck in the 50s for a week! Sure, that must have been stressful, but try and tell me he did not have a good time, hahaha!). 3. RapunzelShe's a dreamer, an artist, kind hearted, loving, caring, and above all, has such a pure heart, even after everything she has gone through. Rapunzel is one of those characters that I am constantly striving to be. I adore her and her reminder to keep dreaming and keep doing. That your trauma and past does not define you. To embrace your artistic creativity and strive to be kind towards others. I adore her <3 2. BlueySome people may say that this is a kids show, and it technically WAS made to be a kid show. But I think that Bluey has been able to help heal so many people's inner child (mine included!) and I very often find myself putting Bluey on in the background while I'm getting ready for my day, or working on a project. Bluey is learning about the world as a child, but is such a great reminder that at heart, we are all just kiddos. Thank you for showing me that I can still be a kid, Bluey 🥹 1. Spider-ManI mean, come ON. If you didn't guess that Spider-Man was going to be on the list when you first started reading this blog post, then I'm doing something wrong here. Spider-Man is a HUGE comfort character for me. I love his ability to make the best of a bad situation, and he is just like us. Trying to figure out his way through life. And like I said earlier with Rapunzel, he is constantly looking to try and help people, to brighten their days and lend a hand when he can. Even Peter Parker out of the suit is just as kind hearted as he is with the mask on. And I love that through all of that, Spidey reminds us that it's okay to make mistakes and learn from them. He isn't perfect. And that's what makes him so special and lovable.
Two dogs, a princess, a time traveler and a super hero! I'd say this is quite the list here, hahah! I would love to hear about some of your favorite comfort characters! Feel free to leave a comment below! And I'll catch you guys in the next blog :) -Jess Oh, hi there!! You thought that my blogs were gone for good, didn't you 😉 Most certainly not! The start of this year has been a little crazy for me as I have been expanding my content and also I have had some things happening in my personal life as well, so blog posts kind of fell off the agenda for a bit. But we are back and better than ever!
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw that I am currently working on a new cosplay 👀 I want it to be a surprise, so I can't tell you QUITE too much yet, but I can say right now that I am super excited about this one. It's a character from a (non-Marvel) movie franchise that I adore that I have wanted to cosplay for a while! I have been slowly getting the pieces in the mail, but am hoping to have it done and debuted by next week if things continue to go according to plan! Although, that all depends on if everything fits correctly of course 😅 ah, the life of a cosplayer. If you are interested in getting behind-the-scenes and early access looks of my cosplays, you can become a subscriber on my Instagram! I have been uploading stories and posts there as I have updates about my cosplay process 🤭 I also have started streaming on Twitch (yippee!!). I am so excited to announce that I am officially a Twitch Affiliate! If you like Disney Dreamlight Valley (or just Disney in general!) I adore playing that game, and it is typically my go-to game to stream. I'm hoping to also start streaming some other games on Twitch as well (perhaps some Fortnite, The Sims, or Stardew Valley!). Another exciting thing--I'm really taking some initiative this year to do some more fun side projects! I'll be posting the long form updates on props and costumes to my Youtube as I work on them throughout the year, so be sure to subscribe if you want some cosplay prop inspiration/tutorials! 🥰 (I also love posting Vlogs and Lifestyle videos there too!). Lots of exciting things happening in the FPP world over the past few months, and it's only going to continue to keep growing! As I am expanding my chats about fandoms and lifestyle, I would love to hear more of what you all are interested in as well! It has been so much fun getting to talk to you all a little bit more about me and my other interests (though, Marvel is never gonna leave! It'll always be here in some way, shape or form 🥰). Feel free to leave a comment below, on my socials, or send me a DM if there is anything specific you'd like to see! I'm so excited to be back to blogging, and chatting with you all! Thank you once again for sticking around with me throughout my creator journey. Whether you are new here, or have been a long time follower, I am so grateful for your support. Until the next blog post! See ya then! 🫡 -Jess Hello hello hello my friends! Happy Holidays! With it being the first blog post of December, I figured I might do some holiday themed blogs for this month. And what better way to start that than to rank my top five favorite holiday movies and holiday specials! There are so so many, and this list is purely a mix of satire and also just what I've been rewatching over and over for the past two weeks HAHAH, so I wouldn't call this an OFFICIAL list of my favorites, but it's definitely been what's on the brain lately. So let's jump into it! 5. White ChristmasVintage Christmas is the BEST kind of Christmas, and this movie does it for me every time! The songs are so good and the costumes are GORGEOUS, and they get the Christmas feelings so well. That old Hollywood vibe is so beautiful in this one and a definite rewatch every year :) 4. The Guardians of the Galaxy: Holiday SpecialMarvel and Christmas is the best. And this one did it so well. I love getting to see more of Mantis and Drax in this, because I feel like in the movies they had always been treated more as side characters with Star-Lord more as a front runner. And they are both so cute and goofy! Drax deserves is funny little man 😂 also swol Groot is absolutely hilarious in this HAHAH I love him. 3. Olaf's Frozen AdventureOkay, do you all have that one holiday movie that never fails to make you cry? I cannot explain it, but this special does it for me. Specifically when they ring the yule bell for the first time, and that finale song. Ugh. I mean, I'm a pretty sappy person to begin with but something about this just strikes a chord with me. I have already watched this like three times this month hahaha 😂 2. Iron Man 3I am here to end the longtime debate. Iron Man 3 IS A CHRISTMAS MOVIE 😌 I have yet to do my rewatch this year, but I am super looking forward to it because out of the three Iron Man films, this one is my favorite! They do a great job of including the holiday elements while also sticking to the story. Plus, I love seeing Tony try to gift Pepper that giant stuffed bunny every year 😂 1. ElfIf you asked me if I could only pick one Christmas movie to watch for the entirety of the Christmas season, I would pick Elf every time without fail. This movie is just the perfect Christmas film all around. It never fails to make me laugh, and Will Ferrell is so good in it! Plus the story is so fun and wholesome. I always get excited to rewatch this every year :)
And that's my list! What are some of your favorite holiday themed films/specials? Okay, so it has officially been a bit since The Marvels has come out, but I am SO excited to talk to you all about this! Apologies for getting this out so late. Between catching up on work since the strike ended, and also going on a Disney trip with my friends that we had planned at the beginning of the year, it has been quite an adventure. And now it's the holidays! Things are happening so fast! But in the best way. Man, am I glad to be back!
But you didn't come here to listen to me babble about how busy I am! You came here for The Marvels content! So let's get into it. SPOILERS below for the movie if you have not seen it yet! This movie started off SO strong! I absolutely loved the three-way-power-switch-fight-scene between Kamala, Carol and Monica. It was so fun and chaotic and they had some of the best music choices! Honestly not going to lie, I think this was one of my favorite parts of the movie! I could watch a whole hour and a half of just a fight scene like that and be completely immersed the entire time. It was so good. I loved getting to see our girl Ms. Marvel FINALLY meet her favorite Avenger <3 From the trailers I was a little worried that Carol was going to be mean to her 😭 but she ended up being really sweet and treating her just like she treated baby Monica, which made my heart soar. It was sad to see Monica and Carol kind of in a tiff together. But I'm glad they explored a little bit about Carol visiting Monica's mother during the blip and the section when they were looking into each other's minds to find the coordinates. Kamala was an absolute light this entire film. I adore her so much! And her interactions with all the rest of the characters was so so cute. Also, I need to put this here--but VALKYRIE AND CAROL?! OMG?!?!?! Power couple, the way I SCREAMED in the theater!!! Love that for them 😭 I thought the Aladna scenes were interesting, and Princess Carol was iconic HAHAH. I'm super interested to know more about her "diplomatic relationship", so I hope we get more backstory there! But it may remain a mystery. And the concept of a city having a language of only song was so comic book coded, I loved that 😂 The scene with all of the Flerkens helping everyone evacuate the ship had to have been the funniest thing ever. I adored the entire scene! I couldn't stop laughing at the "Stop running. Let the Flerkens eat you!" hahaha! Iconic, if I do say so myself 😂 But I have to say the end of the movie has three of the biggest plot points... 1. Monica being stranded in a different multiverse! I was so sad that she did that. I had a strong feeling she was going to though, so I wasn't that surprised when it happened. But it also opens up SO much into that end credit scene. More there later ;) 2. KATE BISHOP?! LUCKY?! THE YOUNG AVENGERS?! EVERYONE SHUT UP I'M SO EXCITED! If you know me, you know I am a #1 Young Avengers Stan, it is like my favorite comic book run EVER, I love them, they are so fun and cute and all the characters are truly a vibe. I cannot CANNOT wait to see them fully forming in the MCU! 3. THE X-MEN?! OH TRULY A POWER MOVE MARVEL. I am actually super curious if this is how they are going to tie in Deadpool into our universe! It seems like it's going to be connected to the Deadpool movie this upcoming summer. God, I cannot wait! And how heart wrenching that they have Monica's mother there with her, when she had passed away in her universe. My heart shattered for her :(( What did you all think of The Marvels? Personally, I think it's getting a lot of extra hate that it doesn't deserve. There is so much good about it, and it was such a fun, lighthearted movie! So awesome :) Until next time! -Jess ...and sometimes that's truly just how life goes, huh?
So first of all. Hey guys! I have missed you all SO so much. It's been quite a while since I have written a blog (like, literally months) and it feels good to sit down and write again. I debated about jumping right back in with my thoughts on The Marvels after seeing it tonight, but I think I want to get a little more personal with this one first. So The Marvels will be next up <3 but how about we catch up a little for now, yeah? Trigger Warning for the topics below in regard to mental health and depression. When the SAG-AFTRA strike started, I wanted to show my support and stand in solidarity with both the actors and the writers as they fought for a living wage and fair rights against the use of AI. Everyone deserves to be paid fairly and given fair working conditions, and the unions were long overdue for a contract rewrite as technology has advanced. But standing in solidarity with the actors also meant not talking about my favorite fandoms...which unfortunately also meant no cosplays and no skits. The first two weeks were really tough on me. Those of you who have been following me for a while know how much the Marvel fandom means to me. And even other media as well, such as Disney, Star Wars, and shows that were on streaming services (I got really into New Girl and Gilmore Girls over the course of the strike!). Standing in solidarity was the right thing to do, and if that meant not talking about my favorite shows and movies then of course I would do it. But I didn't realize how much of my coping skills fell into these fandoms until it was taken away for an indefinite amount of time. And the indefiniteness of it all was definitely what got to me the most. I tried expanding my content (hence the Taylor Swift videos here and there) but it just didn't feel the same to me. I didn't get that spark that I used to get when I was dressed in cosplay and filmed my skits for you all. It made it really difficult for me to continue wanting to post videos. Because nothing felt right. I didn't feel as passionate about it. And that started to really get to me. Which is why my posting schedule went from a once-a-week blog and daily videos to maybe 1-2 videos a week and no blogs at all. I had to basically find entirely new coping skills to help me get through this weird content break period. I tried sewing, as you all may have seen from my two whole sewing vlogs (and haven't picked up since LOL whoops. I better get back into that soon!). And tried starting to read again. But when mental health hits you, it sometimes hits hard. And I found myself in a really not-so-great place in my good ol' brain of mine. I had no structure to my days anymore, which I think was a huge part of the reason I was not feeling well. But it also just made it tough in general to keep getting up in the morning. When every day felt the same and there was no end in sight to the strike. There was no one being like "Hey! You'll be able to post again by the time The Marvels rolls around!" or "Hey! Here's an exact date of when you can expect things to wrap up!". Which, of course, was probably the most frustrating for the actors and writers, as they wanted to get back to work! Every day they would show up, willing and ready to meet with the AMPTP to negotiate, and instead the AMPTP kept walking away from the table. I started to find it really hard to get out of bed. If I even got up and got dressed for my day then I'd call it a win. And to be completely honest you guys, I think this was one of the worst mental health lows I've had. I felt like I lost my purpose. And I wasn't able to connect with all of you anymore, which is one of the things I love so very much about content creating. The community and the connection over a mutual love of something so special to all of us. So that's why I disappeared in and out of posting for a bit. And that's okay, because I think that's basically what I needed to do to get through each day. Things are definitely looking a little better now. Right before the strike ended, I had been making more of an effort to reach out to some creator friends, been talking through some things with my therapist, and I've started regularly incorporating movement into my day which has definitely improved my mood. And now we're back to posting our regularly scheduled content again! Which definitely DEFINITELY helps. And overall, I know standing with the actors was the right thing to do. I wouldn't change that for a second. But I did want to share with you all why things have been the way they have on my socials, and share my story from a content creator perspective. While this strike may not have been about influencers and content creators specifically, a lot of us were definitely involved as we stood united with the performing arts unions, and we were impacted by a lot of what was happening. I know I certainly was. I would like to conclude this blog just by saying that for those of you who stuck around--thank you. You have no idea how much it means to me, that even though I wasn't posting what you followed me for and, heck, even though I fell off the face of the planet at times, you still were here, supporting me, sharing my shifted content style, and waiting it out with the actors, the rest of my fellow creators, and me. I love you all so so much. I truly am grateful for you. I'm excited to jump back into what I love, sharing what I love, and connecting with you all more now that the strikes have ended. Thank you. For everything <3 Until the next blog...which will be more regularly again now ;), -Jess (@femalepeterparker) Hello hello friends, and happy July! If you've been following my stories and posts from the past month, you know that I have rarely been home because I've been going on quite a few adventures! From NYC to Florida to a little local con near me and then out to Cali for a week, the month certainly was not a boring one, that's for sure! While it was all fun, I certainly am grateful to have had the last couple of days to relax and catch up on some sleep. I definitely needed it! (P.S. This is a reminder to all of you to be sure to take a rest or a break every once in a while! It's definitely important <3)
I wanted to take a moment to give a huge massive thank you to you all because I absolutely love being able to do what I do, and your support means the world to me! If you had told little baby Jess years ago that she would be posting skits as her favorite characters, working with Marvel and being flown to Disney World by Disney Parks themselves, I don't think I would have ever believed you. I am so humbled and honored that so many of you find comfort in my content, and that my page has become a safe space for you to geek out about your favorite fandom and characters. Reading your messages and comments absolutely brightens my day, and I am so grateful for all of you. As I am home and get back into the grind of things again, I am working on more content and skits, and also editing some YouTube videos! I'm looking forward to doing some more cosplays and skits soon, and I am hoping to get more into costume making as well! I know I said at the beginning of the year that that was one of my goals, and I really hope I can start making that work. It's never too late to start! Until the next skit! Love you all bunches <3 -Jess (@femalepeterparker) Hello hello friends! Another late post for blogs this week, but I promise it's worth it! This month I have been traveling A LOT for a bunch of super cool and amazing opportunities, and this past week was a trip to Walt Disney World for Disney's All The Disney Thrills event! I first want to state, thank you SO so much to Disney for having us! I was lucky enough to be hosted by Disney themselves and they gave me and the other influencers so many awesome experiences this week that I wanted to share with you! I'm currently working on a YouTube vlog that will be up once I find time to edit the clips all together, but until then I'll give a little breakdown (with pics!) of what we did this week. So here we go! Wednesday, June 7th, 2023 My brother (and plus one!) and I woke up bright and early at 4 am to catch our flight from the airport so we could make our way down to Florida! Let me tell you, getting up at 4 am usually sucks. But when Disney is involved, it's not too bad 😉 Our flight was pretty quick, usually it's about 3ish hours and sometimes shorter if the pilots push our flight higher. So we landed in Orlando around 10:30, and then had to get on our Mears Connect bus to take us to...Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge! It was my very first time staying at this particular resort and it is GORGEOUS you guys! It is inspired by the culture and heritage of Africa, and you can see wildlife outside your hotel window! Every morning we could see giraffes and impala from our balcony, and there were also zebra and flamingos around the resort as well (and other animals that I can't even remember off the top of my head right now! Everywhere you went, there were wildlife lookouts to see the animals there). Our first half of the day was essentially just exploring the resort and getting settled/finding a snack to eat since we hadn't had anything since that morning! Then we also checked in with our Disney Parks friends for the event, and they gave us a little welcome gift! Around 4:00 pm we met up with our Disney crew and the other creators on the trip to board a bus outside the resort that took us to Disney Springs! We headed to The Boat House for dinner before going to watch Drawn to Life which is Disney's Cirque de Soleil show! Listen. If you have planned a Disney trip and have not yet seen this show, I HIGHLY recommend. The story is beautiful and the acrobatics are AMAZING. I saw it last year when I went to the opening of Cosmic Rewind, and seeing it a second time I can tell you it was just as good as the first. Such a good show! And we were even given an opportunity to meet with the cast after the show was over before heading back to our hotel for the night! Thursday, June 8th, 2023: This was my Wanda Disneybound Day! I tried to make each of my outfits the days we went to the parks a different Marvel character (for skit purposes, but also for fun!). My brother and I got breakfast on our own that morning at Boma--Flavors of Africa which served buffet style breakfast classics like Mickey waffles and eggs, but also some African inspired cuisine as well! Absolutely delicious and a great way to start our day before meeting with our friends in the lobby to start our Disney adventures! We jumped back on a bus that morning to go back to Disney Springs, because we were lucky enough to have an early preview of some of the Indiana Jones toys and cuisine coming to the parks! There were photo opportunities and so many little goodies to explore! There was CHOCOLATE COVERED BACON?! And tons of different drinks. It was so awesome getting to get an early taste preview of what is to come, especially with the new movie coming out soon! After we finished eating we headed on back to the buses because we had free time to spend at EPCOT! We ended up getting to know JuJu (@straw_hat_goofy) and Jasmine (@mooreamor) a lot more during this trip and spent a lot of our park time with them, which was so much fun! We ran around filming content and taking pictures, and overall having a great day. In true Florida fashion, it torrentially downpoured a couple times, but JuJu didn't let that break his vibe (he filmed a whole TikTok in the rain!). We met back up with the other content creators and our group late that afternoon to all ride Cosmic Rewind together (my FAVORITE ride in the whole park) and...I cried. LOL. And not just like, baby tears when the ride ended. I couldn't stop crying for like 7-10 minutes afterwards (I just love the ride so much, okay?!). It's such a good ride. Then we headed over to eat dinner above Test Track (yes, THE Test Track!) and had a dance party with a gorgeous view of the EPCOT ball! And they even had a meet and greet with Star-Lord and Gamora for us! It was so awesome to talk with them. Gamora said I can borrow the Milano ;) And to end the night, we got a VIP viewing area of the Epcot Fireworks, complete with 3D glasses that turn the lights into Mickeys! (I'll post a video in my Vlog soon!) Friday June 9th, 2023 This morning we had to get up super bright and early to make our bus so we could head over to Animal Kingdom and eat breakfast in the world of Pandora! I have never been to Pandora this early in the morning with no one around, and it made for an amazing photo opportunity of the area, and we even got to be the very first ones to ride Flight of Passage that day, as our group got special access before we ate (and guess what everybody? Jess was crying again, hahah! Another ride that always gets me). Then we got to spend the rest of the day having some free time! We hung out in Animal Kingdom for majority of the day, and met up with the lovely Danielle (@thedapperdanielle) and Cole (@bibbidi.bobbidi.beard) before park hopping over to Disney's Hollywood Studios! We finished up the day by heading over to the Indiana Jones Stunt Show where we got to eat dinner ON THE STAGE where the performance takes place! We had a dance party and they had really fun opportunities throughout as well, such as magicians and tricks as well as henna tattoos. We were supposed to go to a viewing of Fantasmic! that night, but unfortunately the lightning and thunderstorms cancelled it on us 😭 Saturday, June 10th, 2023: Magic Kingdom Day! We started the day off with a party (and in my Kate Bishop Disneybound) by heading to an early entrance to the park where we had a Mardi Gras party with Tiana and friends! They gave out beads, there was dancing and photo ops, and we even got to go on the river boat! Then we got to eat breakfast (they had MICKEY BEIGNETS) before having some free time to go to some rides! We headed over to the Tron ride (my first time riding it, and it is AWESOME!) and also met up with some characters throughout the day! And of course, took any photo ops and content creation opportunities that we could! Halfway through the day we headed back to our hotel because we needed to get ready to head over to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon for a special H20 Glow event! I had never been to the water park at Disney, but let me tell you guys, it is SO fun! It reminded me a lot of Disney's Castaway Cay island that some of the Disney Cruises take you on. I loved it! The waterslides were so fun and it was such an awesome way to end our trip. I have a couple clips I'll post in my vlog, but for the most part I kept my phone away for this part of the event because there was so much water! Sunday, June 11th, 2023 Our last day :( our flight left at 4 that afternoon, but we had a little bit of time to hit Hollywood Studios with some friends! We hung out with @twinsauce (Luke and Paul!) for our final day and rope dropped all together to get to Millennium Falcon run, since we missed it our first day in Hollywood Studios. And because we got early park access being at a Disney resort, we actually were lucky enough to ride it TWICE since the ride line was only 15 minutes long! Then we headed further into Batuu to get some breakfast (Ronto Wraps and Cold Brew? Sign me up!) before heading for one last ride at Slinky Dog, a couple photo ops, and some shopping (where I bought my little baby rocket!) before we had to head back to the hotel to get our bags and go to the airport. A huge shoutout and big thank you to Disney Parks for hosting my friends and I! I am so so lucky to be able to go on these trips and make such fun content. This was such an awesome experience and I miss it already. Until next time! See ya real soon, Mickey <3
